What you will be doing
Your role in shaping the KOIA experience
As the Food and Beverage Controller, you will oversee inventory, costing and supply chain processes to optimize resource utilization and maintain the highest standards in food and beverage operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage the inventory of food, beverages and raw materials, including recording and stocktaking.
- Calculate dish and beverage costs, ensuring portion control and monitoring raw material price fluctuations.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to select appropriate materials, track orders and verify invoices.
- Analyze product consumption and implement waste reduction strategies to improve operational efficiency.
- Prepare detailed reports on food and beverage costs, consumption patterns and profitability to support strategic decisions.
- Ensure compliance with company protocols, hygiene regulations and safety standards.
- Oversee quality control for all supplier products, ensuring they meet KOIA’s high standards.
- Utilize F&B management systems to monitor inventory, costs and consumption effectively
What you will bring to the team
Your skills and spirit
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for optimizing food and beverage operations. The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Food & Beverage Management, or a related field (certification in F&B Management or Inventory Control is a plus).
- 2-5 years of experience in F&B inventory management, procurement, or cost control, preferably in hotels or restaurants.
- Proficiency in F&B management software (e.g., Micros, Fidelio) and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of hygiene regulations, inventory management, menu engineering and market trends.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical and communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively within a team.
